Construction joints are also known as day joints. They are formed as free movement joints separating the main concrete floor into areas suitable for poring.

How soon can I use my concrete floor in my yard?

We usually recommend 24 hours for the concrete in your yard to set. After this we advise 7 days before you can drive light vehicles over it. Finally, for HGV’s we would expect a 28 days, depending on the thickness of the slab and weather.
